Grounded Attacks

Jab 1 - Left Scratch

Sceptile scratches with its left arm. By tapping the A Button, this move can transition into Jab 2.


Jab 2 - Right Scratch

Sceptile scratches with its right arm. By tapping the A Button, this move can transition into Jab 3.


Jab 3 - Thrust Kick

Sceptile turns away while kicking in-front of itself with its left leg. This move serves as Sceptile's Jab Finisher, and deals higher knockback when compared to most Jab Finishers.


Dash Attack - Bouncing Slide Kick

While running, Sceptile slides with its right leg stretched out. If Sceptile strikes an opponent with this move, it'll recoil away from its foe and into the air. However, the player can hold the A Button to prevent the bounce from happening, in which the move will simply be able to interrupt earlier instead. (1/2)

When Sceptile strikes an opponent with its Dash Attack (and if the A Button is not held down), it'll recoil away and into the air. The Control Stick can be tilted to influence Sceptile's direction. This bounce can be interrupted quite early, so be sure to make the most of it. (2/2)


Side Tilt - Charge Punch

Sceptile rears back before lunging forward with a strike using its right fist. The player can delay this move by holding the A Button, but can release at anytime. However, upon holding the move to its limit, the attack becomes stronger. (1/2)

If holding Side Tilt to its limit, Sceptile's attack increases in both damage and knockback. However, the player must commit to achieve this power. (2/2)


Up Tilt - Blade Uppercut

Sceptile swiftly uppercuts with its right arm as its blades extend. Not only is this move fast, it's also disjointed, thanks to those blades.


Down Tilt - Crouching Slash

Which crouching, Sceptile lunges forward, scratching with both of its hands. This move is among Sceptile's fastest attacks. It's even fast enough to link into itself when the enemy is at low damage.
